I am working on a project where I am dealing with soil contamination in a highly industrialized area. As the remedial measurements suggested by consultants are usually very black and white, I would like to know more about remediation of contaminated sites using plants, especially trees. Does anybody know of any successfull projects where trees have been used on contaminated sites (landfill sites)? If yes, I would appreciate a response.
