grafting and standards

Can someone direct me to some webpages dealing with grafting onto a standard?

I would love to learn more about how trees like Corylus Avellana Contorta, and Weeping Pussywillow
are created....I have seen more and more varieties of ornamental shrubs that are the result of grafting,
and I'd love to know how!
