Weeping cherry trimming

I planted a weeping cherry 3 years ago and would like to
know the proper way to trim the tree so it looks great and
stays healthy. Three-four feet away from the trunk was
planted bushes to add color and contrast but the branchs
and leaves from the tree covers them. Do I move the bushes
or how do I prperly trim the branches?
