Erk Brudi is the product rep for Cobra. I talked with him at the ISA conference and he told me that he is currently doing research on cambial compression.
When I saw Cobra, my first concern was about the cambial presure. After talking with Erk and others I realized what should happen. In the past I have cut limbs that were under pressure from another limb or touching a fence or similar situation. The tree and limbs have not shown the wounding and decay that we see when the tree is supported under constant pressure.
