This site is becoming boring. Can we not broaden and acknowledge the arboricultural, ecological and environmental aspects. i.e. trees and development appraisal, woodland management, subsidence scenarios, utility conflicts, municipal street tree planting regimes, research notes- recent literature, tree pruning, pollarding, the aspects of poor arboriculture and its effects, the client needs, arboriculture and business etc, etc, etc, the list is endless.

We should not go off on one and spend forever typing conjecture on mindless drivel. I have noticed in the past that certain particpants on this forum are as high as kite's, talking far too much through their heart and mind and not responding from their own practical experience. We live in a practical world and we must respond to that reality.

Continuous replies to the lay person are wholly acceptable, however, dissemination of data from and to the experienced arborist is vital to the sustainable arboricultural resource. Do not let this forum be bogged down with endless and very often minor problems.

There are innumeriable variables that await the arborist, in essence, we know next to nothing and have a great deal to learn, we must therefore accumulate and disseminate our knowlegde prior to purveying it to others.

The site is becoming a bit like Gardeners ? Time. A waste of talent and time!!

PS The Kites know who they are!!!
