A Bleeding Tree

My mulberry tree has sap dripping down the back of it. The tree splits into 2 trunks about 5ft from the ground and the "sap?" is coming from there. My neighbor said this may be a big problem. I don't see a split or break between the two trunks and the tree appears to be healthy. I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.
