Not only that, I have watched period dramas set in the UK showing fully mature tree species that have yet to enter the country at that time or could not have attained full maturity. Many people besides Arborists will also tend to make a mental note of this and lose interest in the shows credibility fairly rapidly.
No answers to your problem, just an observation, the US guys will sort things out for you!
