Following information received, it would appear that the Arboricultural Associations, Subsidence Risk Assessment (SRA) method has this week been shelved (only a few months after its introduction). SRA was designed to assist arborists in determining the potential risk from the indirect/direct action by trees to nearby buildings. My previous comments on this issue remains the same "a complex mathematical model is impossible to apply to living dynamic organisms, given the innumerable variables involved". I think this news will be welcomed by the UK industry as a whole.
