Mark,
As being an "expert" in the field, assuming you are?
I would have recommended 200 gallons of Miracle grow,
followed with thin applications of human hair to be
applied 1 night before but not 24 hours past the waning
moon. Of course the chicken dance would of been a close second
method.

We often plant trees for customers and "WE DON'T GUARANTEE
ANYTHING" Why? Because people will take advantage of you!
i.e. We're going on vacation, we don't have to water the
new trees, hell there are "GUARANTEED".. This has happened
to me before & YES they were mulch, planted, pruned etc.
when planted, and grown in my nursery. Yes, We will check
your big trees for a price!! Let me add, when was last time
you went to the doctor for a check up or some other
problem and the Dr. said, hell it's free today!
In the past, I've been to a Dr. before & he said I have
no idea what's wrong, so pay the girl $100 on the way out.
I drove to him, waited 30 minutes, talked to him 10 minutes
and that's it. No x-rays,blood work,etc.

Let me add, in our state a new transplanted tree can die
with no water in a week.(hot, dry summers)

By the way, did you just finish reading Modern
Arboriculture and/or New Tree Bio.????
