Sorry it has taken so long to respond. We try to have regular safety meetings, it will not always work out. It become hard when the company is very busy like Spring. But that is the time that we are more likely to have accident or injury. We as em
oyers have to set the law in our own company. Each year I tell myself that we are going to become more religious about weekly safety meetings. Each year it gets better, not always weekly.
Talking about close calls is important. I read some where that for every twenty close calls there would be one that is serious. That is a scary thought. I think that many are reluctant, unwilling or embarrassed to admit their close calls. Perhaps
separate posting in the climber forum will prompt more response.
