Hi

Sorry about taking so long to get a reply.

The question that you ask is a very broad one and I guess people have tended to shy away from it.

For one to have died already suggest there is something not right. It may be the plants you have
selected or the spot you chose, the way it was planted or even the way it was cared for after
planting.

The best advice I can give you is for the next trees to be planted.

Purchase them from and have them installed by a person who will gurantee them for at least 12 months.

These companies have an interest in selling better quality, planting the right way in a good spot and
making sure you know how to care for it. Some will even offer to check and care for all the trees on your
lot for you. Considering the value of big trees that is probably a good idea.

Thanks for waiting

Mark
