It stands some 40ft tall, has a 84" circum. It is
healthy, but extends some 12 ft into my neighbors
yard. She now wants it cut back to the property line.
This means she will be cutting it back to wood on major
branches.
Can this be done without killing/damaging it. Another
problem I face is that it leans towards my property &
if you cut that much off there is a good chance that in a
strong wind (especially with El Nino coming) it will fall.
The last time I had it prunned/thinned out was 6/95.
I am at my wits end over this. I want to do right by my
neighbor, but at the same time I would hate to
lose my pine.
Can you advise?
