1) Temperature/ photoperiod. They have not started to flower in Sydney Australia but they have in Brisbane. Has it been cold
2) Moisture. Jacarandas seem to flower best after a dryer period.
3) Terminal flowering. Is the flower bud being damaged by the borer.
4) Low energy reserves. Usually this will result in better flowering prior to final demise but often poorer and sometimes
no flowering with less life threatenning stress.
5) Soil chemistry can affect flowering. Have there been changes that could have affected the soil?
