ISA certification questions

I have been trying to find out information on the process of acquiring a certification of arboriculture. I have called numbers in California and Portland but no ever returns my calls. I live in Arizona and I am very interested in being arborist. I would like to know what kind of classes you have to take and how long before I can take the test. I hope someone can help me. I have become very frustrated.
