The allergy seems to occur for some people here in Australis where we have heaps of Silky oaks.
It doesn't seem to occur to everone that comes in contact with them though.
I, for instance have never suffered it. I have heard that senstitivity may build up
but I don't know for sure.
If you find anything out I would be interested.
