1) Healthy leaves begin to yellow. The leaf veins will remain green but the area in between will turn a yellow-green.
2) The leaves will turn all yellow with light green-yellow veins. Brown spots (on the topside) become pronounced.
3) The leaves turn nearly all brown, curl up and drop off.
A fellow at a local nursery said that the tree was having trouble with the clay and rocky soil. He said it was terminal. I would like to find a second opinion with a better prognosis and treatment ideas. I live in the North Texas area if that is of any help. Also, I have not done any feeding or fertilizing (other than general lawn care).
Thank you.
