No, you just don't understand. we are not talking about conks or fruiting bodies, we are talking about conkers. Conkers are the fruits of horse chestnut trees, and are used by English schoolboys in a rather intriguing game of destruction. the informal season lasts a coouple of weeks every Autumn or until the game is banned by school teachers. for more information take a trip over ther before Mack the Tree has all the horse chestnuts felled.
