Rich: I'll send you a copy of an article published in Australian Horticulture 94:9 Sept 1996, regarding the problems of poor roots. Natspec is a commercial body which provides specifications chiefly for construction and development. The Natspec guide for planting stock by Ross Clark provides guidelines for root formation.
