A very poor state of affairs when school teachers are placed above arboriculturists on the fee earning ladder, maybe you should start advertising educational summer schools in competition? Seriously what has been the impact, if any, of LOCAL AGENDA 21? This worldwide protocol requires that as a result of international convention, that all Municipal Authorities design action plans on local biodiversity and sustainability of resources. WHO, in your municipalities, if anyone, is charged with LA21 issues and could they be the starting block for sustainable policy associated with trees, teachers doing this work does not seem to me to be sustainable? In Europe LA21 is now a BIG issue and we have even had planning refusals for residential development state, that the proposals would be in conflict with the municipal authorities obligations to sustain local biodiversity and amenity, (note amenity in the real sense does not mean the arboriculturists hang - up of VISUAL, amenity means advantages
of all types - amenity
trees are multi - use advantages for sustaining the local community) M LAWSON
