A Girdling Root Review

We are developing a review of girdling roots of trees. Any publications that partially or in whole deals with girdling roots are needed. Example sources include extension publications. We have been unable to locate any such publications, so inform us if there are any available. We are also interested in communication with anybody involved with research that is being or has been conducted with girdling roots. The complied list presented below is published work we are aware of that deals with girdling roots. Please let us know of any missing work, both published and non-published observations. Research dealing with circling roots in containers and management to eliminate (i.e., copper coatings) is not listed below, but is known about. Anyone who responds with useful information will receive a complimentary copy of the publication when available.
