Mulch that xmas tree

Well, now that xmas is over and you are discarding that
xmas tree, how about mulching it? Many cities have this
program. This keeps good, organic matter out of landfills
(and off of sides of roads) and gives back the Earth what
we took from her for decoration. If your city doesn't do
this and you have a beach or lake nearby, you could try
sand dune barriers or fish reefs. If you do a fish reef,
be sure to thoroughly strip and clean the tree for the
fish sake.
