MSR is quite possibly one of the best systemic insecticdes available today. it is not incumbered by the phyotoxicity problems as many other more popular chemical with the same mode of action like dimethoate. I'm not familiar with the insect you are refering to but in Canada it has been used successfully against other coloeoptera species. I say give it a try just be careful not deviate from label specs. you may have to apply for an expanded label usage hrough the manufacturer this is alot of red tape but worth the effort as often funds are available to assist in the resarch of more uses of aparticular chemical.
