If you had a roadside curb

I live in Houston and have a roadside curb down the long length
of my property. Corner lot. What would you plant for foundation plants?
Holly, Hawthorn, Boxwood, Juniper? I have a mixture of:
1. Mexican Heather
2. Russian Olive
3. Autumn Olive
4. Yaupon Holly
5. Ixora
6. Honeysuckle
7. Indian Hawthorn
8. Crown Vetch
This curb has a run of 68 feet. It is located on the
West side and gets good light. Zone 8.
