Your avenues may be political. Lots of public support followed by perhaps a specific
protection ordinance
that may possess such hefty fines (several million) that they may be disillusioned from
destroying it.

Coring is the only way I know of developing an accurate age on the tree. If there is another
way please let me know.
I hope there are some who will lend some insight into the avenues one might pursue.

Curious? Did we meet this fall at the Albany, GA Conference?
