In reply to your posting

Seeking information from anyone who has used MSR2 as a soil injection to control various
kinds of bark beetles and or flatheaded borers in both evergreen and deciduous trees and
shrubs. I am particularly interested in control of Ips in pine and Pacific Flathead in Raphs
but any information will be appreciated. I do not need information on Mojet products.

Due the weakening effects of last years hurricane, here in the mid Panhandle of Florida,
pine bark beetle infestations are at an all time high. Reluctantly I've been using Mauget as a
pre-treatment on mostly Slash and Sand Pines weakened from lightning strikes and salt
intrusion. Suspect 5% losses overall in a predominately pine community.

I am unaware of any other treatments but stem spraying. Which doesn't seem logical for
post invasion. I wonder if its even possible to treat post invasion effectively. Tiny little
devils seem to work pretty fast. I understand and suspect that they may be prone to first
attack midway up, leaving their visual discovery at the base to come possibly a day or two
later. I have wondered at what time rate terminal damage occurs. I've only treated 2 pines
at different locations that were freshly infested. One died within a week the other after two
weeks had retained 60% of its canopy but was taken down any way (character dispute
between spouses) He had it taken down while she was at work.

I would be grateful for any information in regard to treatments pre or post.
