What kind of accidents? Do you mean they should be required
to pay for the saw that broke when they dropped it out of the
Oak, or pay their medical bills after THEY fall?
In my experience, through several trades, the cost DUMB MISTAKES
causing material damage was often deducted from an employees
paycheck over a long enough time period not to cause real
difficulty. Repairs required by true accidents, at least the
first couple gr, were paid for by the company.
Of course you should be carrying liability etc so the large
accidents don't kill the business/you, right?grin
