I have an Apple Pear tree that is 5 years old and it is
thriving in the Pacific North West climate. However, fruit
set continues to be a problem since an abundance of flowers
are produced during cool weather when bees are often scarse.
I do bring in flowers from another pear tree as I believe
cross pollination is necessary. Is it possible to induce
fruit set artificially by use of a hormone spray?
