Trench 2' from stem on 2 sides, one to lay phone under side
walk, one to make street & curb wider. 2' dia Norway maples
in NW US. Anyone have any info on survival rate? Arboricul-
ture practices to preserve not practical, except thinning to
prevent windthrow.
