Monkey Puzzle Tree info.

I would appreciate any information on the Monkey Puzzle tree.
I do not know the latin name for the tree and have seen them
in Victoria, BC and on Long Island, NY. I would like to plant
one in Eastern North Carolina and cannot find any information on
this species and its requirements. Thank you.
