The stupid washer spins inside the housing cover. Eventually, I fear the metal washer will wear the plastic cover. The older 020t's (with black air filter cover) don't have this washer.
My dealer suggested I epoxy the darn thing in place before the washer spins more and more.
You also have probably gotten very good at forcing it back, as I have done, just to get at the adjuster screw.
