I agree with others in their response. Spikes are actually
very dangerous to use. I don't even use spikes unless it is
my last resort. Go rent a bucket truck. It is well worth the
expense. Call Lucas in Portland, have them put the trees on
the ground for you. They work very cheap.
Why would you use spikes on a Spruce tree anyway? Spruces
have a million limbs right to the ground..?
Be prudent. You will never regret it.
