I've planted 11 leylands this past Spring and so far they seem to be surviving the rather cold winter here in southern West Virginia where my home sits at approx 2500 ft elevation. Anyone in the area or more northward having much luck with these trees beyond a year? Literature says coldest zone for them is 6 which is where I'm at.
