Always dreaming of one day owning my own 020, I could then never afford the expense, I jumped at buying instead an 019T when they first appeared at the Stihl dealer.
Eventually I did need to buy an 020t (time is money); but I did drop my 020t and wound up cracking the gas tank. Wow, I thought, $500 down the tube. A little epoxy along the crack, and I'm back in business.
Nothing for me compares with the RPM's the 020t's have, but I must say my little 019t does make an affordable all- around saw. With some TLC I hope mine will last. It was the first 'one handed' pruning saw I bought and is improving in performance every day. Start using it sparingly and allow the engine 10 tanks to properly break in (keep feathering the gas and go easy during larger cuts). For the $220 I spent, I wish I had gotten two.
