That's very kind of you to say. If there is any sense in my
words it comes from our belief that the church is the ground
and pillar of the truth. Our attendance, since my hubbys
conversion in 1986, to an independent Sovereign Grace
Baptist ministry has taught us to think. They used to teach
logic in school, our founding fathers would often have
learned not only logic, but latin, greek & hebrew by they were in
8th grade ( how often have those touting the NEA stated that
people years ago could only get a 6th,7th or 8th grade
education?? ) Their education to grade 6 was usually
equivalent to that of 10th grade these days.
At any rate, I cannot stress enough that the troubles we
are all experienceing in business, and our government are
at the root a moral and spiritual problem. Always have been.
The existentialist wants to decide for him/herself what is
right and wrong. Usually there is an add-mixture of the
fundamentalist bible thumping, eastern mysticism and plain old humanism and now
a days, a little of the occult/magic/positive thinking
thrown in for kicks! (I know from hard "experience")
Anyhow,I've been on this soap box before, but it has never
failed to prove true. Those who have adhered to a biblically
sound, not cultishly, but faithfully New Testament Christian
chuch, honored the authority and wisdom of their elders and
Searched the scriptures to see whether the things taught
were true, sought to live, by Grace alone(not only a principle
but a power), a life glorifying to Christ were blessed.
Anything less usually falls apart sooner or later.
I've seen it happen and can often see my own falling away
if it were not for the Lords mercy to keep me.
May God enable our house to persevere and hopefully to give
some helpful information to others.
A friend of mine wrote a letter to the editor of the
local paper. If anyone would be interested, it's not nearly
as "preachy" as this posting, let me know and I'll
type it in for you all. This guy used to smuggle drugs and
now owns his own business!!
By the way, any toker who's been at it awhile begins to
experience kind of a pot buzz...I used to clean like a
bat out of hell, literally, sometimes you get a little
turned around and maybe cut yourself or start laughing
like an idiot! But... as far as energy, don't think all
the hyper ones are on crank. A family member of mine who
is truly stoned almost any time you speak to him, talks
so fast you'd swear he was on speed so...
Talk to ya later- Be Safe Guys!!
(Watch out for stoners with chainsaws! HA)
