O.k. now,
My sweetie was certified in 88 as tree worker & 89 as an
Arborist, he worked for 8 years on weekends and after work
to support our family so I could stay at home and raise &
school our children.
He also had enough initiative and honesty to get his
contractors license and his first PL/PD policy in 89 for
coverage. We have always paid our taxes on extra money he
earned and now are on our 3rd year full time. Because of
the many years we had an established client base which
has for the most part been understanding at the price
increase because of workers comp and other overhead.
Be careful judging all of them the same. There are still
some very diligent men ( & women pcpcpcpc )that will
really work 2 jobs to ENABLE their wives to do an
EXTREMELY important job of raising their children.
Since we can openly say our mind here, I wish more people
cared as much as he has about the care and maintenance
of their childrens lives and souls with as much self
sacrifice as he has shown. To me the women who talk about
the self sacrifice of going to work all day and coming home
to give their families only 1/2 their energies while their
husbands have to have their hobbies, t.v. etc are the ones
who are money hungry. They care more about their new car
new house and keeping up the 2 income standard & not to
mention cost of living for the rest of us (ever apply for
a loan with 1 job income, side income & 4 or 5 kids? They
laugh you out of the bank!)than about caring for their children.
I guess if I don't want my mailbox full of ranting and
profanity I shouldn't comment on the State Funded Baby Sitting
Institutions that teach these poor children to express
themselves at all costs and we end up with poor fools like
3 wraps and high times over there who could probably not
begin to define things like virtue, or accountability or
hmm... antidisestablishmentarianism HA! Bye for now!
