18" Chippers

I always thought Vermeer built retarded chippers until I saw
the model 1800. I have owned an 1800 machine now for almost
two years, and it is the best machine in the market.

I used to be a Brush Bandit disc chipper fan, then I saw the
need to go bigger and started shopping. Brush bandit's 18"
machine is a nightmare. Morbark's 2400 is a little better
but it is nowhere as nice as the Vermeer. Vermeer will run
circles around both machines. It is far smoother, neater
easier to maintain and a beefier machine. The autofeed II
works very well. No need to have a larger engine, unless you
plan to chip 20 inch logs all day long.

The Vermeer 1800 will happily eat brush and logs(we have fed
it up to 26" logs) all day long.

This machine will increase your productivity by 300%. You
would be a fool to keep your old chipper and not invest
in this machine.

No I don't work for Vermeer, but I have convinced several
other people to buy this machine.
