Landscapers grass,Atlanta,GA. area.

Question: I recently visited Atlanta, GA. and many of the
new business centers are landscaped with a pretty dark green
long bladed grass. It appears to grow well under shade trees,
landscaped areas, and feels very hardy. In most places, the
grass was cut to a long length. It also does well in the sun.

It appears to be a fescue or blue grass on the surface, but
it looks thicker than most blends I've seen.

Could you make a educated guess on what specific type of
grass is commonly used for landscape usage in this area,
and can it be used the Memphis, TN. area.
