Going over my earlier posting, I can see I went overboard when in a bad mood.
I also didn't word things well. It sounds like I think "we" are the Great White Arborists who will teach "them", the great unwashed minorities, how to do things.
This is what I meant to say:
This website could be a place where arborists learn from each other, regardless of color, flavor or variety.
Recent postings have, in my opinion, created an atmosphere where non-whitepeople would probably say, "Screw these bozos" and never come into the discussion.
If we drive each other away, we defeat the whole purpose. I don't propose censorship by the webmaster, but a little self-censorship might be called for.
I don't care if you want to believe all the problems of (insert pet cause here) are caused by those damn (insert slur of choice here), but this is a site for trees, not social issues, and we'd all be better off keeping it that way.
