I would like to apolgize for my rude and crude behavior that was obviuosly noticed.
I often find my inner self battling between the old wise fart and its youthful, rebellious
counterpart. This is not how I wanted to represent myself and didn't realize it until after
the fact. Although, it is the type of negative environment I have had to unfortunately adapt
to in the three short years of tree work. I strive to be the best and aim for perfection, but
but my workplace has been an enormous drag. My crane mishap was one in a million, but a thing
of the past and never the future.
I have worked around a few climbers, but they were not very fluent with modern
arboriculture. Their only fluency was with tree removal and improper pruning; climbing spurs,
hacked pruning cuts, and beautiful lion-tailing(if there is such a thing??). They choose not to
change, maybe incapable of changing, therefore, I am in total disgust.
I only have three years under my belt(a rookie to most of "ya`ll"), but I am an EXCELLER and
WILL excel. The only way for me to gain knowledge is to read and "Make it happen"
by myself. The majority of tree services in this town are simply money mongers and have no
consideration(along with minute knowledge) for trees.
Again, I would like to apoligize. A lot more to talk about but will keep it short.
I am a mere rookie and have a lot to learn. I am a proton
that disdains electrons. Protons keep up the good work.
"Working in harmony with trees."
Cosmos vs. Chaos
Thank you,
Kevin Elmore
