Rescue situations are one thing but in a crowded subdivision filled with all kinds of obstacles I dont see how well it would work. I met some guys at a jamboree who told of an acquaintance who had every toy made for tree work and when he heard of the rope gun he had to have one. Well his first shot was in his front yard, needless to say it soared well over his intended target a 80 ft sand pine then came down and wrapped the line around three primary high volage lines blowing a transformer and cutting off all the power the neighbor hood. Fla power had to come out and un-ravel the whole mess to restore electricity,and gave him a stern lecture on where to use his new toy.
