Rumor has it that Stihl will drop their retail price, significantly. Has anyone heard anything like this? When I called Stihl a couple of weeks ago, about the problem, they were very evasive. Eventually, I was routed to someone that new about the situatuion. When I made the mistake of referring to the rumor as a "recall" the Tech Rep got very defensive. I never did get a straight answer as to whether my carb would be replaced under the warranty or not. When I asked if I could use the carb from my "damaged" 020T with the previous carb, he said he couldn't say anything officially but I could "read between the lines..."
