I agree with you 100%
Actually, it worked out alright. I convinced them to take
the whole tree down plus another chestnut next to it that
was just as bad. Though not as odvious. In fact, the
second one had a cavity 8'up and was hollow to the ground.
Seems the children thought it made a good trash can,
because the bottom 4' was filled with garbage.
Truthfully, it wasn't that difficult to convince them.
I've done work for the district for so long that they
know and trust my opinions and recomendations.
I really just wanted to know how others deal with these
situations. Although this one worked out I have had this
dilemma before.
