Our "Tree Climbers Discussion Group" HyperMail on the University server seems to be experiencing some anomalies(sp?). Is there a new policy being put in place for our group? If so, can you post the terms of that new policy into the discussion group so we are up to speed on what is and what is not going to happen there?
There suddenly seems to be an extreme delay in posting. My response to a prusik loop message took two days to show up (for me)... is this a hardware/software administration problem, or is it so the posts can be reviewed prior to being made public?
If there was a way to retain freedom of full expression, including all it's potential distastfullness, I would personally vote for that option, as opposed to a sluggish operating discussion, limited to one train of thought.
Thanks for your consideration. Us tree type folks are not rocket scientists, but there is a unique oportunity for us to be able to communicate together using the format of the HyperMail "thing" on your server.
Could there be a compromise? I could understand deleting redundant messages, and messages with no real content. Then leave the rest for us to discuss?
