Hello Jon,
I've been using a steel core flip line for about
10 years. I always used the flip line hitch to my
side dee. At a expo one time, a person talked me into
a micro adjuster, it's ok, one thing I don't
like about it is, it will feed when I don't want it
to feed. i.e.Tied in high, I will then swing 15-20' to
limb walk out, pre-adjusted the line before the swing
only to grab the line to find it's 2' shorted. It seems
that if the micro adjuster is tilted up with weight pulling
down under no load it will feed, understand?

Many people have worked for me in the past who hated
a steel core flip, I don't know why. They just said it was
no good.

DID YOU KNOW? the main reason for the steel core is
to make it rigid, not cut resistant. I have some old
steel core flip lines that I'm going to saw through
just to see how long it takes & how much vibration
is transmitted to the saddle, if your interested I'll
e-mail you the results.
Now for SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!
Can you give me the rundown on David Allen?
I use to view his 1/2 hour show here(about 10 years ago)
but now I don't hear anything about him.
