A lot of times I will climb only with my Fanno, it goes through anything like butter because part of my monthly PM is to take them in for a sharp and set (set is the angle of off the from the plane of the blade) this cost 2 bucks a blade under ten blades so I can sharpen up almost seven saws for the price of one.
one other problem with climbing with a saw, your draging around an extra 10 lbs!
