RE: The guy who wants to hear about dangerous trees, my
hubby took down a 100'euc. for a customer which was on
a creek & the one next to it the previous week had gone
down. The job was a real bummer. The client couldn't care
less if he lived or died, and was sniveling over every
detail, most of our clients are GREAT, pay well etc. this
was a bad referral which in retrospect, the old man would
never have taken, but we've got 5 kiddies and have to keep
everything covered, you know. Anyway, he took a little
video cam up and was taping some stuff for posterity and
I swear, I got a new respect for him and you-all. A 20'
ladder against the house looked like my kids pre-school toys!
And out ground crew had to shoo the kids into the house,
the woman was irate about it. What do these people think?
So weird, scared the tree would fall on her house but not
her kids? The worst part is that they were obvious liberal
hippy types, but so tight fisted it was amazing.
I fealt really bad cuz when he said he was considering
cutting his losses & letting them find some other slob to
deal with their weirdo trips, all I could see was $$$.
Bad wifey. Anyhow, done now, got the money and ran, got
a call from a great client today, lotsa bucks and REAL nice.
God provides the good with the bad. See ya.
