Remember these guys are in a sport!
Not real world, all planned ahead!
they've team up with Husky to promote their concept of tree
work. Not real, just their image. At best you can win $10,000.
But how many days do you give up @ what cost to win?
These guys practiced the choosen "events" that's all!
If many people did the same you wouldn't see rat face
or the dude! They would of been past many years ago!
For example, I seen people practice the throw ball the day before
the jamboree and win! Other wise just work, not a serious
effort! But Palmer beat them, Holy shit! a star is born!
The rest of the people said yea, they beat me but who was really
serious! Maybe Jerry Kids that's it!
You choose! Every day work is what it is all about. These duds
have no conception of real tree work, I.E. getting the job done.
If your a owner, don't waste your time unless you don't know which end is up!
If you want to win a jamboree w/ISA YES, GO FOR IT!!
If you want to make money buy G.F. Beranek's book.

twisted rope this knot doesn't appear to have an advantage.

I've traded this knot back & forth, one thing they don't tell you, if you like you
tie any thing to your rope below the hitch it will creep like hell. I do very often
such as a saw! But if you listen to arbor-games they recommend you carry all that
weight on your saddle!
