I have used the 020 sthil for 8 years. Started with a 034, 25 years ago an I.m now 36.
I still have the 034 & 015 when I climbed as a kid. But then apple & Oak trees in the Mid-Hudson valley of N.Y. are basic trees.
Now for climbing saws, I have enjoyed the saws w/power. have you tried the Sachs-dolamer sp40? For about $200 it kicks ass.
Neck & neck with the 020. It is a top handle carries a 16" bar with bells of steel. The s25 has a lot vibs, good hp, but not well balanced.
Olympic 335DF, balanced great not alot of H.P. If you have the time you can polish & port the piston & makes it scream. But for every day use I'll grab the 020.
I don't know about you, for me this saw is used for climbing only and not to saw brush on the ground, when using a saw lanyard (6') many times the saw will idle between cuts at my feet. This way I don't have to start & re-start.
We cleaned the plug & filter that's it no adjustment to the carb. Not needed.
The ECHO-3400 is a good pruning saw(16") that's all, when using the entire bar.Maybe more effective w/ a 12" bar but, my system is more effective with a 16"er'.

Any others?
I do waste a lot of time, money, research on cranes, climbing saws and buckets.

Do use kevlar, it's your best friend.
