The way HE is saying that you will die is that the splices
that you are purchasing to use on the end of your climbing
line or your split- tail, done with a 16 strand splice , will
come apart while you are in the air and than you will fall,
if you haven't fallen already and the shock load you placed
on the splice came apart and then you fell again. Other than
that HE has no arguement. Remember though ,HE says that it is
less productive . Basically HE is stating that if you use
the split-tail , you first will lose money with it and than
it will fail and you will fall.
