There is the remains of an ancient forest that consist of 12
or so Bald Cypress Trees, about 10 miles north of Orlando,FL
The oldest one being 3,500 years old, and the rest 2,000 +.
The tallest being 125 ft. at one time reached 175 ft. or more.
Due to hurricanes has shorted it's height. The circumferance
is 50 ft. plus. This is an unique hammock with beautiful
scenery I believe this is the oldest group of trees on the
East side of the Mississippi.
